2022-2023 Chancellor-Provost Awards for Faculty Excellence

The Office of the Chancellor-Provost is accepting nominations for awards that recognize the excellence of our Rutgers–New Brunswick faculty through innovative teaching; cross-disciplinary research, inquiry, or artistic expression; public engagement; and service.

This year, to reflect the priorities of our Academic Master Plan, the Chancellor-Provost Awards for Faculty Excellence include two new awards for Excellence in Community-Engaged Scholarship and Excellence in Mentoring.

Award recipients will be honored at a Celebration of Faculty Excellence in April and will each receive an institutional award of $5,000.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

  • Deans, department chairs, and colleagues are invited to submit nominations.
  • Each nomination must include a 300-word summary of the individual’s qualifications and up to three letters of support.
  • A committee of senior faculty members will review nominations and make recommendations to the Chancellor-Provost.

Please submit all nominations with supporting materials to nbfacultyaffairs@echo.rutgers.edu by March 1, 2023.
