Located on George H. Cook Campus, the Equine Science Center is a program of New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station dedicated to better horse care through research and education to advance the well-being and performance of horses and the equine industry.

As part of the School of Nursing, the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center is committed to improving the health of vulnerable women, children, youth, and families—including those infected and affected by HIV—and to building capacity in the communities and systems that serve them. The center aims to eliminate barriers to high-quality health care for vulnerable populations.

The Genomics Center at New Jersey Medical School provides full service support for genomics-based applications including experimental design, bioinformatics, development of novel assays, grant writing, and manuscript preparation. The center is experienced in a broad range of biological disciplines including basic biology, infectious diseases, cancer, neurobiology, immunology and clinical research. The staff of the CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited Clinical Genomics Lab has extensive experience in molecular diagnostics and clinical research, and specializes in clinical biomarker discovery, validation and diagnostic test development.

The Geology Museum enhances university teaching and outreach programs through its presentations of geological, mineralogical, paleontological, and anthropologic materials for the education and enjoyment of visitors. The museum is dedicated to educating the public through exhibits, collections, public lectures, tours, and other programs to enhance our understanding of the natural world.

The Center for Governmental Accounting Education and Research at Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick sponsors academic research projects in collaboration with the Governmental Accounting Standards board and other academic and professional organizations.

The Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory is a New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) and a field station for the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences, both located at the School of Environmental and Biological Science. This dual role permits the research laboratory to draw upon the strengths of both programs to fulfill its mission in support of fisheries and aquaculture research. The station has a 120-year tradition of disseminating research results and working cooperatively with state and federal agencies and the fisheries and aquaculture communities in New Jersey.

The Heldrich Center for Workforce Development is based at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and serves as a university-based research and policy center. The center is dedicated to raising the effectiveness of the American workplace by strengthening workforce education, placement and training programs, and policies, and has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s leading research centers for workforce development. The center concentrates on both nurturing concrete innovations in workforce practices, as well as addressing broad-scale economic policy changes that ensure Americans receive the education and training they need to be productive and prosperous in the knowledge economy of the 21st century.

The Herbert and Leonard Littman Families Holocaust Resource Center is part of the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life and has a mission to teach future generations about the Holocaust by training educators and providing educational materials to teachers, students, and scholars. The center's programs are designed to enhance public awareness of the Holocaust and promote discussion of racism, genocide, discrimination, and the importance of protecting human rights.
