Will you know how to react if your dog is choking? Can you recognize the signs of your cat suffering from a heatstroke? Do you know what to do if you suspect your pet has eaten something poisonous?

Taught by Steve Ross, President and National Training Director of First Aid & CPR, LLC, our 3-hour online Pet First Aid & CPR Certification course covers how to take care of pets and other animals in the event of an emergency. $75 per person.

In the first aid portion of the course, you will learn how to check for and treat animal injuries. Topics covered include:

  • Bleeding
  • Choking
  • Drowning
  • Fractures
  • Heat and cold emergencies
  • Impaled objects
  • Poisoning
  • Shock
  • Splinting
  • And much more

In the CPR portion of the course, receive instructions on the proper techniques of rescue breathing, pulse check, and compressions. After the class, you will receive via FedEx mail:

  • A pet first aid and CPR student manual
  • An ASHI certification wallet card and print certificate (suitable for framing)
  • A quick pet first aid and CPR reference card
  • Other emergency reference documents
