Join us for an informative discussion on the transformative power of adaptive sports. Moderated by Javier Robles, with John Guimaraes, Executive Director of Navigator Adaptive Sports, and Catarina Guimaraes, a U.S. Paralympian, and Leslie St. Louis, an adaptive sports athlete, and Anne Marie Santos, of Children’s Lighting Wheels. This session will explore the evolving landscape of adaptive sports, their impact on athletes with disabilities, and the key challenges and opportunities in the field. We will explore the transformative power of adaptive sports in fostering inclusion, improving quality of life, and empowering individuals with disabilities. Participants will learn how adaptive sports provide physical health benefits, and promote mental well-being, independence, and social connection.
