4th Annual Rutgers Neurodiversity Summit
Join us for the 4th Annual Neurodiversity Summit. In addition to an exceptional keynote speaker and individual workshop presenters and exhibitors, our event has a dynamic new location: the College Ave Student Center.
Event highlights include:
- Keynote, "Neurodiverse and Gifted: Building Supports and Community for Twice-Exceptional Learners,” by Dr. Orla Dunne, Academic Programme Manager, Centre for Talented Youth Ireland, Dublin City University
- Welcome by Dr. Francine Conway, Chancellor, Rutgers–New Brunswick
- Rutgers Neurodiversity Advocacy Award presented by Dr. Christopher Manente
- Educational/Informational Sessions on Residence Life & Neurodiversity Dorms, Academic & Social Support, Employment Opportunities, Mental Health Resources, Clubs & Activities, Community Safety
- Afternoon keynote, “Digital Wellbeing: Healthier & Happier Living with Science & Technology,” by Dr. Elizabeth Torres, Rutgers Psychology
We have added even more space for our featured exhibitor tables that will allow a variety of Rutgers units (and some external partners) to showcase their department/unit's commitment to ensuring greater access for neurodivergent staff, faculty, and students. There is no cost to individual units to be an exhibitor at this year’s conference.
All Rutgers students who attend and complete a Resource Fair Visitor Card will receive a $20 RU Express Gift Card. Open to faculty, staff, students, and the community. Register by October 10 to attend individual workshops.
