Office of the Provost [Designate]

Leadership Team

Provost Geary relies on Rutgers–New Brunswick leaders to support the Office of the Provost by implementing academic directives and initiatives that serve the needs of the university's faculty and student populations.

David Shreiber, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs

Vice Provost for Academic Affairs David Shreiber provides leadership for high-quality academic programming, teaching and learning, assessment, and program review and evaluation processes. He facilitates academic program development, approval, and review; develops and oversees policies and procedures in collaboration with the provost and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs; and builds infrastructure to support academic excellence across Rutgers–New Brunswick. He also oversees the evaluation process for non-tenure-track faculty promotion.

Charles Keeton, Vice Provost for Experiential Learning

Vice Provost for Experiential Learning Charles Keeton collaborates across Rutgers–New Brunswick and the community to create and support high-impact experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for success. He leads efforts to increase awareness, remove barriers, and improve participation in programs that impact retention, on-time graduation, and post-graduation success. He is a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Mark Gregory Robson, Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education

Inaugural Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education Mark Gregory Robson oversees and advocates for the well-being of all Rutgers–New Brunswick graduate students, increases the visibility of graduate education, and expands graduate education-related partnerships with the State of New Jersey. Robson leads the academic unit that supports graduate education for Rutgers–New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). Robson also leads the Graduate Education and Student Support Initiative, part of the implementation of the Rutgers–New Brunswick Academic Master Plan. 

Wendie Cohick, Vice Provost for Research

Vice Provost for Research Wendie Cohick advocates for strategic resources and collaborations that drive transformative, interdisciplinary research across Rutgers–New Brunswick. She previously served as Dean of Research and Graduate Education in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS), Director of Research for the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES), and Interim Director of the Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health (IFNH).

Carolyn Moehling, Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education

Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Carolyn Moehling is responsible for promoting continued excellence in undergraduate education at Rutgers–New Brunswick. She directs the Office of the Chancellor's programs designed to advance student success. She also works closely with the leadership in the schools to encourage curricular and pedagogical innovation and to expand opportunities for experiential learning to prepare students for the world that lies ahead.
