IDEA Summer Microinternship

An enriching experience for the young innovators and creators

What is the IDEA Summer Microinternship?

The IDEA Summer Microinternship aims to complement the academic rigor of the school year with a focused investment in practical skills such as problem solving and critical thinking over the course of a 10-week internship. The Summer Program matches students with an industry or community partner to work on a problem area of interest to the organization based upon their mission and/or philanthropic focus or area.

Moreover, what makes this program different is that it not a regular internship that separates academic ambitions from the daily workings of an office but an opportunity to brainstorm, design, implement and sustain community-centered research and innovation, enhancing students’ ability to rely on a multidisciplinary toolkit for their future endeavors.
