For a small number of employees at Rutgers Dining Services, their work preparing and serving meals isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to gain life skills – one that’s not always easy to come by for adults with autism.

Nadirah Simmons celebrated the release of First Things First: Hip-Hop Ladies Who Changed the Game, which explores the contribution of women to the music she listened to growing up.

The “Meet the Moment” campaign includes two universitywide series – one featuring documentary films, other speaker-led discussions – both designed to facilitate civil discourse at Rutgers between students, staff and faculty.
