New Faculty Pathways to a Successful Start: Orientation Part 2

As a follow-up to the August New Faculty Orientation, please join us to learn more about Rutgers and interact with other new faculty members.

Enjoy interactive Zoom activities including small breakout room discussions to build community, speaker panels, and interview formats to add to your toolkit of teaching strategies, scholarship strategies, and help you find mentoring opportunities to help you thrive in your first years at Rutgers.

Learn how to build an active classroom environment and deal with AI challenges. Start creating your own mentor map and learn strategies for making it more effective (these work for students too!). Figure out if a writing community is for you and how to find one to join (and other survival strategies for getting writing done!). Meet and talk with other new faculty in small groups.

Register for the Zoom event. There will be a one-hour lunch break.

You have the option to attend the watch party in person with others at the Center for Faculty Success (24 College Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ).
