juneteenth screening and panel discussion hosted by Rutgers School of Arts and Science

Join us Wednesday, June 14 from 2–4 pm, for an in-person screening and panel discussion featuring The Price of Silence: The Forgotten Story of New Jersey's Enslaved People and The Lasting Impact of Slavery in New Jersey.

Panel discussion features:

  • Ridgeley Hutchinson, the filmmaker
  • Dr. Isabela Morales, Happy Dreams of Liberty
  • Kristal Langford (GSE '21), the Lost Souls Memorial Project
  • Dr. Linda Caldwell-Epps (Douglass '73), 1804 Consultants

A special performance curated by Marshall Jones Ill, Head of BA Theater.

This event will take place at the Kathleen W. Ludwig Global Village Living Learning Center. Faculty and staff can park in the parking lot outside the Douglas Student Center. The Kathleen W. Ludwig Global Village Living Learning Center is located across Nichol Ave.
