This dance class is designed specifically for adults who are neurodivergent or Autistic and is offered as an open house to showcase classes currently offered at Rutgers University. Fun music and the concepts of space, time and rhythm, the body, and qualities of movement will be part of this slower-paced class. Creative movement explored using stimulating props to encourage and motivate participation when abstract ideas or too many verbal prompts are not engaging enough is the goal both individually and together as a group.

No dance training is required, and support guardians or teachers are allowed to participate.

If you wish to take this class online, please email the instructor, Natalie Schultz-Kahwaty, at ns1199@mgsa.rutgers.edu.
