Life Sciences Alliance Forum
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research, in collaboration with the Life Sciences Alliance Provost Strategic Task Force, invites faculty members to participate in the forthcoming Life Sciences Alliance Forum. This event will feature presentations by faculty on their ongoing life sciences research and will provide networking opportunities to encourage innovative team formation. Forum presenters and attendees will have the opportunity to submit competitive research proposals for pilot seed funding.
The Life Sciences Alliance Forum will provide a platform for building new or expanding existing research teams that can address questions in the life sciences. It will provide an opportunity for the conception of new project ideas intended for extramural funding that will sustain their future growth and drive innovative research.
The Life Sciences Alliance Forum will provide faculty teams with the following:
- an opportunity to present their ongoing work and inspire the creation of groups for new research projects
- a venue to meet researchers with complementary areas of expertise who can improve ongoing research projects or help to develop new research projects
Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
