Greetings from Interim Chancellor Molloy
July 27, 2018
Dear Rutgers New Brunswick Staff:
I wanted to drop you this quick note to tell you how excited I am about serving as the Interim Chancellor at Rutgers–New Brunswick and how much I look forward to continuing my work with you.
I first stepped onto the Rutgers–New Brunswick campus in 1972, as a freshman at Rutgers College. Like so many of you and so many of our students, I was the first in my family to attend college. I earned my bachelor's degree and Ph.D. from Rutgers, became a faculty member and dean in 2007 and later moved into a full administrative role as Senior Vice President for the Office of Research and Economic Development in 2013. Rutgers shaped who I am, and it has always been a privilege to work for my alma mater.
In the 46 years since I entered Rutgers as a freshman and my recent years as an administrator at Rutgers, I know how hard you work to make Rutgers a world-class institution for our students and a vital resource for our broader community. Thank you for all that you do already, and know that I am looking forward to working hand-in-hand with you to make this university great.
Christopher J. Molloy, Ph.D.
