Dear Rutgers–New Brunswick Community,
 
Join us this Saturday, April 26, for Rutgers Day! This event, taking place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the Busch Campus in Piscataway and the College Avenue and Cook/Douglass campuses in New Brunswick, is the ultimate celebration of everything Rutgers.
 
Rutgers Day is a tremendous celebration of Scarlet Knight pride. It has something for everyone: live performances; programs, educational demonstrations, and exhibits, including plenty for kids; food vendors; and student organizations—all ready to entertain, engage, and inform people of all ages. All activities are free.

Rainy Day Plans
 
The plans for Saturday’s celebration have changed due to the rainy forecast. Most Rutgers Day programming is being moved indoors for the safety and comfort of our visitors and some programming has been reduced. This Rutgers Today story provides an overview of those changes—and the most up-to-date information will be found on the Rutgers Day page.
 
Here are some examples of what you’ll find this year:
 
Programs on Busch Campus: The best for science, technology, and business enthusiasts of all ages. Find engineering, chemistry, and computer exhibits, speak with student entrepreneurs, and get a mini-health check in the Health Village. Programs will take place in the Busch Student Center, Werblin Recreation Center, and School of Engineering.
 
Programs on College Avenue Campus: Take a turn at the Marathon reading, learn about different languages and cultures, and visit the Zimmerli Art Museum exhibitions. Programs will take place in the College Avenue Gym, College Avenue Student Center, and Zimmerli Art Museum.
 
Programs on the Cook/Douglass Campus: Nature and animal lovers flock to the Cook/Douglass campus for a mix of high-tech research centers and an operational farm. This year marks the return of the Rutgers Gardens plant sale. (However, the New Jersey Folk Festival has been postponed; a later date will be announced). Programs will take place in the Cook Student Center, at College Farm, and at the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center Gym.
 
Thank you to everyone who helps make Rutgers Day possible. This event requires tremendous coordination and cooperation across schools and units and represents the best of our community working together.
