Mental Health & Wellness Week 2026 invites the Rutgers–New Brunswick community to come together around a shared commitment to connection, care, and wellness. Led by ScarletWell and championed by Chancellor Francine Conway, this week highlights the many ways wellness is already happening across our campuses and encourages everyone to take part.
With nearly 40 events offered throughout the week, students, faculty, and staff can explore activities that support wellness across all campuses.

Bring Your Wellness Ideas to Life
ScarletWell Wellness Grants support innovative, community-driven wellness initiatives across Rutgers–New Brunswick:
- Wellness Connection Grants (student-led, faculty-sponsored) support student-driven events and spaces that build connection across student communities.
- Wellness at Work Grants (faculty/staff-led), offered in partnership with the Center for Faculty Success, support workplace wellness initiatives that bring colleagues together and strengthen a culture of wellness.
The 2026–2027 Call for Proposals is now open. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to apply and help shape the future of wellness at Rutgers.
