Upholding Our Values and Supporting Our Community

On Wednesday, I hosted our first small-group listening session with Rutgers–New Brunswick faculty and staff. It was an opportunity to discuss how we can continue to advance the university’s mission in today’s evolving landscape. I am deeply grateful to everyone who participated and appreciate the thoughtful and honest conversation.
 
Today, I want to reinforce President Holloway’s message from yesterday to our university community and reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Rutgers’ core values and our profound impact on society. As an inclusive institution, we are dedicated to access and opportunity for all. President Holloway emphasized, “it is the university’s expectation that its programs supporting our students, faculty, and staff are open to all and compliant with state and federal law.” Your role in this is crucial, and your efforts are deeply appreciated.
