We ask that students, faculty and staff use good judgement and refrain from unnecessary travel or use of university buildings while we are in a recovery mode.

As has been the case far too often recently, our entire community – students, faculty, and staff – will get through this difficult time together, guided by compassion and flexibility.

As always, I ask that you continue to share your concerns and questions with your respective university leaders and support systems or directly with me via this online form. I will do my best to ensure a timely and effective response.

A special thank you to our staff who worked to support our students and ensure their safety last evening and into this morning. Your dedication to our community is vital to our continued operation and success.

Please stay safe.

Sincerely,

Francine Conway, Ph.D.
Chancellor, Rutgers University–New Brunswick
