RU EcoPreserve Accessible Trail Ribbon-cutting and Guided Excursion

Official Ribbon-cutting for the newly constructed Accessible Trail. 

After the "official" ceremony, we will have a guided excursion on the trail which winds through mature forest with a bench half way overlooking Buell Brook. The trail is 1/2 mile long of crushed fine gravel (4' wide and designed following US Forest Service guidelines for wheelchair accessibility). Note there are a few steeper sections (<8% grade and pull-outs). 

The trail starts at the Rutgers University Ecological Preserve Parking lot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/hJBYLZRAGbYbk5Rc7) off Road 3 Livingston Campus. The parking lot will be open for those needing ready access to the trail entrance; we asking others to park in either RU Lot 103 or 111.
