Online Chair Yoga
Have you ever been interested in Chair Yoga and its benefits? Online Chair Yoga with Natalie Schultz-Kahwaty, PhD, is for you! Conveniently offered in this online format as part of Rutgers University’s Disability Awareness Month, this class showcases how yoga can be done in an accessible format and describes the benefits of breathing, meditation, and stretching while mostly in a non-weight bearing position when seated in a chair. Balance and stability will also be introduced using the chair to support standing poses and other adaptive movements.
