Information

This is a free, virtual workshop for faculty and staff, brought to you by the Institute for Teaching, Innovation, and Inclusive Pedagogy (TIIP).

Mid-semester is when a lot of students, especially those managing a visible disability, a hidden one, or a chronic health condition, start wondering if a rough grade means they don't belong. In this session, you'll learn how to write short, specific messages that let students know their struggle is expected and doesn't define them, and you'll leave with messages ready to use in your own feedback, emails, or office hours this October.
