Democracy Summer Research Symposium
Who decides where data centers are built? How do workplaces shape democratic life? What do education and public history teach us about citizenship? Where and how are governments adopting AI in their workflows? This summer, we supported 25 doctoral research projects from across Rutgers focused on U.S. democracy. We’re excited to share their findings at a symposium next month. Please join us for RDL’s Democracy Summer Research Symposium on September 17 from 1–4 p.m. at the Cook Student Center at Rutgers–New Brunswick. The symposium will feature poster presentations from fellows, a faculty panel on publicly-engaged scholarship, professional workshops for doctoral students, and opportunities to connect with colleagues across Rutgers researching democracy.
