To learn about campus life, academic programs, and applying to Rutgers, come to our Visitor Center on the Busch Campus. It’s the gateway for bus and walking tours.
Our admissions tours allow you to choose the way you’ll learn about Rutgers University–New Brunswick, the admissions process, and the incomparable Rutgers student spirit. Special tours for groups of 10 or more prospective students are available. Tours begin at the Visitor Center, and reservations are required.
Campus Walking Tours
Explore the campus facilities—from classrooms and libraries to dorms, dining halls, and more — on a tour led by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Walking tours are conducted by Douglass Residential College, a small, highly engaged community of women. Mentoring and career-development opportunities abound at Douglass. Reservations are preferred, but not required.
Get a feel for college life by spending a night at a residence hall as part of the Douglass Residential College Overnight Weekend. Join other women who have been admitted to Rutgers and get tips on the college transition, enjoy meals with Rutgers students in the dining hall, and participate in other programs.
This campus is home to the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. The tour includes an hour-long information session where you’ll meet a dean and learn about the school’s innovative curricula and research. Reservations are required.
Program Information Sessions and Tours
Meet with the dean, advisers, and department heads during information sessions. Tours are generally held weekly during the academic school year. Registration is not required.
Make an appointment to speak with an admissions representative. Contact specific departments to visit and ask questions.
