Workshops on Teaching, Learning, and Supporting Students

Dear Colleagues:
 
Since late March, faculty and staff members have attended listening sessions to inform my leadership team about the ongoing climate of federal actions and funding cuts—and how they are affecting you, your students, and your important work. I am grateful to everyone who has participated. Your perspectives continue to shape our strategic approach to these ongoing challenges.
 
As a next step in collaboration, I am holding in-person faculty and staff workshops, each focusing on a specific area of our academic enterprise. Workshop participants will collectively explore the impacts of federal actions and identify practical, transparent strategies.
 
The two upcoming workshops are:
 
Teaching and Learning in the Current Climate
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 29
Douglass Student Center, Trayes Hall

Supporting Students in the Current Climate
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 5
College Avenue Student Center, Multipurpose Room

Please be aware that the capacity for both workshops is limited. Individuals whose attendance is confirmed will receive an email from the Chancellor's Office.
