Our Return to Regular Operations

Dear Rutgers–New Brunswick Community,              

Now that the winter storm has passed, Rutgers University will return to full, regular operations tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. I hope you and your families weathered the storm safely.

Rutgers–New Brunswick dining halls are open and continue to maintain regular hours. Until the resumption of normal hours tomorrow, Student Health Services, including CAPS, will continue to provide services virtually, and Rutgers Transportation will operate on a weekend bus schedule. Please continue to check https://newbrunswick.rutgers.edu/operating-status for the most current information and updates. Your safety is our paramount concern, so I would urge employees to work with your managers should you have concerns regarding safe travel to and from campus.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the many members of our community who ensured our continued safety and operations through this significant and disruptive storm. My thanks go out to the Student Affairs, Public Safety, Facilities, and other staff who provided continuity of support for our students, and to the faculty and students who showed great flexibility in their dedication to our academic mission.

Please continue to exercise caution, and to look out for your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors, as we return to regular campus operations.
