Diversity Strategic Plan Phase 2 Launch
February 20, 2024
Dear Rutgers–New Brunswick Community:
As part of our ongoing celebration of Access Week 2024, we invite you to attend a special launch event for Phase 2 of the Rutgers–New Brunswick Diversity Strategic Plan.
The Diversity Strategic Plan (DSP), an important initiative that intersects with the Rutgers–New Brunswick Academic Master Plan, guides our campus community, schools, and administrative units in adopting the cohesive, coherent, and collaborative integration of diversity and inclusion into our shared pursuit of excellence.
The DSP Phase 2 Launch will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, at the College Avenue Student Center and virtually. It will include an overview of the “who, how, what, and why” of this new phase of the Diversity Strategic Plan, a panel discussion on diversity education, and a progress gallery showcasing the many initiatives already underway to implement the Diversity Strategic Plan across Rutgers–New Brunswick.
Access Week 2024, led by the Rutgers Division of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement, began on Monday, February 19, and is our annual celebration of that commitment—and a reminder of the need for an equity mindset to help all students thrive.
Visit the DSP website to learn how our schools are advancing the university’s diversity priorities, and visit this page to register for the February 21 DSP Phase 2 Launch event.
Sincerely,
